Egypt Education Reform 2.0 (Primary Education)

A nationwide initiative launched to support Egypt’s ambitious Education 2.0 reforms. The project focused on Kindergarten KG and Primary 1 thru 6 students, aiming to modernize teaching practices and integrate digital tools in the classroom.The set of reforms  “seek to replace the country’s traditional culture of rote, exam-driven memorization with one that promotes student-centered teaching and competency-based learning for life, alongside mastery of technology” for the twenty-first century.

 

Scope: Skill based and multidisciplinary curriculum across the primary stage along with multi-years professional development program for educators. The reform is set to reach every governorate in Egypt, impacting over 8 millions of students.

 

Role: Innovera managed the logistics, professional development (PD) delivery, and operations, including vendor sourcing, procurement, and coordination with local education authorities. Moreover, the project managed the localization of the content to ensure alignment with Egyptian culture and needs.  

 

Achievements:

Over 180,000 educators across Egypt were trained on the new curriculum and content and on best practices according to the UNESCO competency framework for teachers.

Over 36 printed books been localized including (science, Math and multidisciplinary – Discover).

More than 1.2 Video developed as model lesson for primary stage covery Math and Science subjects.
